Hello, this is us!

We are Virgilia and Milena, the founders of Barkley Foryou.

Have you ever heard of paracord collars? These cool, colorful collars are sold almost everywhere you shop for your dog. However, many do not know how easy they are to braid. We both love "Do it yourself" projects and want to inspire you to knot paracord with our DIY collar sets.

Common questions many paracord beginners ask themselves are:

How big does the collar have to be?

Which material do i need?

Where can I buy the paracord cheaply?

Which buckle do I need?

And so forth...

We think it's a shame that entering the world of paracord is so complicated and that's why we came up with a solution:

A complete package with all the materials you need to tie a collar or leash, etc. and simple instructions.

This is how Barkley came about.

That said enough - we wish you a lot of fun on our site!

By the way, you can get to know our employees and models below. ;)

MY SOUL DOG TESSY

When I took Tessy in with me, she was already 1.5 years old and had 4 previous owners. It was always the same story: "We got Tessy because she looks pretty but she needs too much attention.",  the sad faith of many border collies. Many years ago I had the idea of adopting a dog instead of getting one from the breeder. Tessy absolutely confirmed me in that opinion - it does not have to be a dog from the breeder. True to the motto: "Adopt don't shop", I found my second Border Collie at the animal welfare organization "Hundehilfe Spanien eV"

THE LITTLE SPANISH LADY SALTY

I picked up my little Salty from Berlin Airport and what should I say? With Salty I got a little whirlwind into my house. I quickly realized that adopting a dog from abroad is a completely different matter. Still, I would do it again anytime. Salty has settled in with me very quickly and is such a lovely cuddly dog who shows me his gratitude every day.

ALL GOOD THINGS COME IN THREES!

I discovered my third dog in the Gelsenkirchen animal shelter. There he lay, the big shepherd, curled up in the farthest corner. I just couldn't get his pretty eyes out of my head. A week later I just wanted to see if he had already found a new home. A short time later I became his new "can opener". By the way, he owes the name Tüte to his ears, because they remind me of gigantic French fries bags.
